Saturday June 7th, Peaks and Dales 2025

Saturday, 125 mile leisure drive, Derbyshire, check-in at Windy Harbour car park from 8-00 am.

The Peaks and Dales will start as usual from Windy Harbour, Glossop. This will be a special event as it will be the 20th anniversary of the drive and also, sadly, the last one.
Mike Doughty (the route organiser) is in the process of finding some special venues for us to visit along the way.

We would love as many people as possible to join us and make this event a `grand finale`.

The first stop is The Crispin, Great Longston, tea/coffee stop. We will then drive to the next venue – National Tramway Museum Crich. https://www.tramway.co.uk  Cars before year 2000 will be allowed into the site for display, visit is 2½ hours. There as a Café etc., Step back in time along the recreated period street including pub and shops.

We then drive to Richard Arkwrights Mill, Cromford, all cars to go on display inside the mill yard complex, visit 1½ hours.

Event charge (mandatory) £40 per vehicle entered, which includes 1 person, coffee at Crispin, and admission charges for Tram Museum, and Arkwright Mill.

Extra persons £28pp, children under 15,£23.

Optional Evening Hot and cold buffet £17.00 per person on Saturday evening at Windy Harbour Hotel 7pm. ( chips, hot roast beef, ham, chicken, quiche, desserts )
